In this Course we will provide drivers with a guide to Clandestine Entrants,
what they are, and what to watch out for. We will also outline the necessary
vehicle security checks and procedures drivers must perform to avoid
clandestine entrants gaining access to their vehicle. This Course covers
the following topics: Introduction to clandestine entrants, practical
advice and performing a vehicle security check.
This course is designed to meet the driver training requirements under Section 3.4 of the Civil
Penalty Accreditation Scheme.
With fines from the UK Border Force up to £6,000 for failing to secure a vehicle,
and up to £10,000 per clandestine entrant, hauliers and individual
drivers face increased financial risk. This accreditation scheme
can help demonstrate compliance with the regulations, and can
provide significant discounts in the event of a fine.
